Fellows to the 5th Cordillera Creative Writing Workshop, announced
The College of Arts and Communication of the University of the Philippines Baguio gladly announces the 15 Fellows of the fifth Cordillera Creative Writing Workshop (CCWW). Over ninety applications from all over the country, five fellows were chosen for poetry, five for short story, one for poetry for children, two for short story for children, and two for creative nonfiction. Poetry: Jean Ananayo (Baguio City), Rhea Rose Berroy (Abra), Paulino Cuison (Dagupan City), Ivan Emil Labayne (Quezon City), and Jimsmar Paulino (Baguio City); short story: Van Ehrick Angeles (Cainta, Rizal), Estelito Mendoza (Baguio City), Lioba Asia Piluden (Baguio City), Rai Aldrin Salvador (Caguayan City), and Aby Weygan (Baguio City); for poetry for children: Ching Kilakil (Bontoc, Mountain Province); for short story for children: Emmanuel John Lofamia (Sanchez Mira, Cagayan) and Aileen Piornato (Gonzaga, Cagayan); and for creative nonfiction: Ivan Layugan (Baguio City) and Arnel Murga (Iloilo City).
