OMG! Members andofficers of GUMIL Filipinas, the country's biggest Ilocano Writers'Association with chapters overseas, are the featured artists in theAugust edition of the Open Mic Gig (OMG!), a monthly literaryperformance, at the Rock Drilon's Magnet Gallery in Katipunan, QuezonCity. Performing live on August 30, 7:00 PM onwards, areveteran writers Juan S.P. Hidalgo, Jr., Dr. Paul Blanco Zafaralla, Ric Agnes, Prof. Honor Blanco Cabie, Linda Bulong, Aida C. Tiama, Jovito F.Amorin, Benn Cabacungan, Leo S. Fagaragan, Noli S. Dumlao and Rudy Contillo. They will be joined by younger writers including Ariel S.Tabag and Sherma E. Benosa, both officers of GUMIL Filipinas, Mighty C.Rasing, Dexter Biz, and Jake Ilac. Hidalgo is a recipient ofGawad CCP for Literature, while Agnes is this year's recipient ofUMPIL's Gawad Balagtas for Ilocano fiction and drama.
